After receiving his Degree in Music from the University of Wisconsin, Jens, with nothing but a Packers Jersey on his back and a violin in his hand, headed east where he began his professional career as a musician on the stages of several different theme parks including Hershey Park and Six Flags.
From there, Jens took a break from the theme park glitz and went back to his classical roots by gracing the stages of several professional orchestras including the prestigious Wausau Symphony Orchestra and the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra. After moving to New York City, Jens totally rocked out a successful run as an onstage performer with the North American Tour of the Broadway show “Johnny Cash: Ring of Fire” and also at the MGM Grand in the Broadway show “Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy.” After performing alongside Debbie Gibson in the music video “I Love You” for Sony Japan, Jens dusted off his snap-bracelets and joined Deb and Tiffany on their “Journey Through the 80’s” Tour and was featured on ABC Television’s “The View” and CBS Television’s “Good Morning America.” Soon after, he played with Chubby Checker and Dee Snider...from "The Twist" to "Twisted Sister!"

But Jens’s talents don’t stop there. He is also an accomplished teacher and musical director. He has musically directed a variety of shows and bands ranging from CBS’s “Survivor, Live!”  to “Caligula Maximus” to HIT Entertainment’s “Bob the Builder, Live!” He was honored to be a part of the creative team of the IAAPA award winning “Funsation Celebration!” which won BEST OVERALL PRODUCTION in 2009 and also for the show "Luminosity: Ignite the Night" which won the
Golden Ticket Award in 2012.
